    What are Prebiotics?
    Prebiotics are dedicated plant fibres that provide nourishment to the probiotic or beneficial bacteria in the gut. In other words, prebiotics function like fertilisers for beneficial bacteria.

    What are Direct-Fed Microbials (DFMs)?
    Direct-fed microbials are probiotics that can be directly fed to animals. These probiotics introduce beneficial bacteria into the large bowel or colon, which helps boost the levels of beneficial bacteria.

    Probiotics are useful in situations such as after antibiotic therapy, where antibiotics indiscriminately eliminate both good and bad bacteria. Probiotics serve to replenish and establish a healthy balance by introducing new beneficial bacteria into the digestive system.

    Recommended to be used on:
    Newborns and during weaning, diarrhoea induced by stress, travelling or intense physical exercise, after consumption of deworming medication or antibiotics, change in environment or diet, vaccination/vet visits/hospitalisation.

    Can be given to the following animals:
    Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters, birds, reptiles.
